A {Lively} Yo Gabba Gabba 1st Birthday

It’s Friday… and that means I want nothing more than to kick my heels back and (as DJ Lance says) “DANCEY DANCE!” If you have little ones, chances are your television found its way to Nick Jr.’s, Yo Gabba Gabba… the craziest show created that completely mesmerizes kids. Karolina threw one lively bash for her friend Matthew’s 1st birthday…from the adorable fondant cupcake toppers to the animal cracker boom boxes to the character cut-outs on the backdrop! This was one kooky, colorful celebration!

Party Details, as told by Karolina:

{THEME} My inspiration for this party was definitely the show’s character colors. I wanted to incorporate each character into the table, so I added candy jars with different colors so each character was represented. I followed the same concept with the treat bags and the centerpieces.

{FAVOR BAGS} I used fruit twizzlers… they came in different colors, so I added each color into the plastic treat bag and closed them up with the bag toppers.

{DECOR} For the centerpiece, I wrapped up a square foam from the Dollar Tree with gift paper, hot glued gum balls and added lollipops to make it look more attractive to the kids. I also printed out the character faces using sticker paper and added them to the balloons, birthday hats, and bucket.  There was an explosion of color everywhere, which I think is why kids love Yo Gabba Gabba, and the kids loved it!
