A {Royal} Snow Princess Party

There’s one sure thing about winter… it presents adorable party opportunities! From cozy fires to hot cocoa bars, there are so many festive accents you can use to add a cozy touch to your shindig. When Super “Momtrepreneur” Aly, from Divine Moms, sent this darling Royal Winter Wonderland Snow Princess party my way, I fell in love with the precious, sparkling snow detail in the dessert table, printables, favor bags and cake (loving this gorgeous snow princess cake!) Little Lilah’s favorite movie is “Dora Snow Princess” so Mom took that and created one “ball” of a time!

Party details, as told by Aly:

{INSPIRATION} My daughter Lilah’s favorite movie is Dora Snow Princess. For her 3rd birthday, we decided to create a winter wonderland snow princess party! It tuned out to be the perfect snow day in FL. The color scheme was set by the Divine custom invitation created by Andressa at Twinkle Twinkle Little Party. Pale pink and baby blue were the perfect choices for this shindig.

{ACTIVITIES & FAVORS} The children had a blast playing in the snow. There was a hill of snow created by putting hay barrels under the snow. They slid down the hill and had multiple snow ball fights! We provided a basket of mittens and gloves for the adults and children, so that they could try to stay warm as they played in the snow. Goody bags filled with “snow-to-go” and other winter themed toys were given to each child.

{MENU} Grilled Cheese shooters with tomato bisque, snowflake shaped turkey snowiches, sweet and sour meatballs, fruit ka-bobs (all made by yours truly) were provided for the kiddos. Adults enjoyed as much as the kids! This was one of my favorites themes of all time to plan. So much fun!

{HIGHLIGHT} The Hot Chocolate Bar was a highlight featuring a large urn of delicious hot chocolate (IT WAS FREEZING OUTSIDE!) Peppermint, gingerbread, and french vanilla marshmallows, Marshmallow stirrers, peppermint spoons, hazelnut and white chocolate cookies. We also served warm apple cider.

  1. Love it Aly! You did an awesome job. It takes a lot of work putting it all together for that special little someone and it’s so worth it!

So glad to have found your blog with this party. I am planning my dathguer’s 2nd birthday and it will be a Princess and the Pea theme too! We will be using the Paper and Pigtails printables. I would love more insight on how you made the table covering. I plan on making something similar but someone who has been there, done that would be wonderful! Also, where did you find the blue damask paper plates?

Thanks Diane! We should get together on party planning one day. Now THAT would be dangerous :)

This party is too cute, especially the table set up to look like a bed! Love it!Could you share what kind of table set up is udrenneath the tablecloth? Did you rent some kid-height buffet tables, or is it something DIY like plywood set on top of crates? I want a low, long table like that for my son’s birthday in a few weeks but I’d rather not spend the money to rent something if I can DIY it!Thanks!
